Jimmie's Impact on the Lives of People Living with MS

Joan Nixon was an exceptional artist, mother of four, and a graduate of The Jimmie Heuga Center CAN DO program.

“Jimmie’s story is a super-star story that comes along very rarely. He was a true hero. We need to preserve Jimmie’s MS legacy as a motivational story for people living with MS, and to continue the work that he started... I also believe it can represent a story that will inspire people in all aspects of their lives. What he contributed to the field of MS care management is amazing.”
